Compared with existing buoys, the anchoring type electronic information floating platform is characterize by higher stability, stronger viability in adverse sea condition, longer service life, lower requirements for maintenance and better task system load capacity。 As the offshore platform of marine information network system and by providing on the floating platform various data collection pipelines related to sea area situation monitoring and marine environment observation, relevant information can be sent to the shore station via wireless communication to realize all-weather comprehensive perception of sea area situation and marine environment and to provide information services for the sea areas provided with this type of platform。

Target detection and monitoring

Detection and monitoring of aerial target: it can detect and receive the position message broadcasted by civil aviation/general aviation aircrafts and detect small non-coordinated flying target at low altitude。

Detection and monitoring of sea-surface target: it can detect and receive the AIS position message and static message information broadcasted by the vessels passing adjacent sea areas and detect non-coordinated vessels at the sea surface of adjacent sea areas.

Electromagnetic situation perception

It can monitor the electromagnetic spectral information in the area, obtain the information concerning the service conditions of the information channel and frequency band herein and assess the channel unitization rate; it can detect, measure, analyze and process, select, identify and record V/U data chain, ultrashort wave voice signal, JTIDS data chain and so on.

Information service

Public mobile communication access: the floating platform can carry the mobile base station to provide the passing vessels with mobile voice communication and broadband access services.

Voice communication access: the floating platform can carry the ultrashort wave integrated communication station to extend the ultrashort wave voice communication access service for military policemen to the sea area where the floating platform is located.

Distress relief alarming access: the DSC channel of AIS base station equipment at the floating platform can receive and broadcast the signals for help in case of distress and facilitate the marine emergency rescue service.

AIS service information broadcasting: this function mainly involves the provision of information broadcasting service concerning vessel safety, such as weather, typhoon, tsunami and other forecasting information.

Navigation-aids service: the floating platform can realize AIS navigation-aids function and can even provide the vessels with navigation-aids service when it is in the waterway waters.

Beidou/GPS differential correction service: the floating platform AIS base station can broadcast AIS dedicated GPS differential correction message and provide correction service of Beidou differential message。

Marine environment observation

Marine meteorological element observation: the floating platform can continuously and effectively obtain such meteorological parameters as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, air pressure, humidity, rainfall and visibility above the surface of the sea.

Marine hydrological element observation: the floating platform can continuously and effectively obtain such hydrological parameters as water temperature, conductivity, flow velocity, flow direction, wave height, wave period and wave direction of ocean surface current。
